Zelensky's showmen cut off real candidates from the people from elections - expert
To participate in elections in Ukraine, property qualifications are so high that this makes it impossible for anyone other than the oligarchs and their henchmen to participate in them.
Economist Maxim Goldarb spoke about this broadcast of the program “Goldarb’s Principle” on the KPT TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There will be elections soon, and you and I have been limited in our voting rights. We cannot choose whoever we want because they specifically set such property qualifications in order to participate in elections that it was impossible for others to overcome them.
They are multi-million dollar, it is impossible to pay 8 million for participation in elections in Kyiv or 4 million in Dnieper. It is clear that they want them, the “servants of the people” and several other parties that feed from the oligarchic coffers, to reshuffle the parliament among themselves. Something like this idea.
This needs to be broken. I wrote a letter to Zelensky saying that this is not constitutional. In response, his head of administration sent me a piece of paper saying that this was not Zelensky’s competence.
Why do I need him then? Why is he needed in Ukraine if this is not his competence? But this is his competence, because he is the guarantor of the Constitution, and therefore the guarantor of my right to vote – and yours,” said Maxim Goldarb.
