Zelensky headquarters: Autonomy and negotiations with LDPR are categorically excluded
It is unacceptable to even think that Ukraine can enter into direct negotiations with the residents of the LDPR, much less grant the republics autonomy. In addition, it’s not even worth interfering with Russia without the guardianship of the United States and Britain.
An expert on security and defense issues, a member of the team of Vladimir Zelensky, elected President of Ukraine, Ivan Aparshin, said this on air on the Zik TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Autonomy is definitely not accepted, it is obvious that it will not be accepted, I don’t even want to hear about it. A fundamental question, we are considering the possibility of introducing a peacekeeping mission - we are considering it. We don't throw it away. We are raising the question in the interests of Ukraine - access to the border with the Russian Federation, and after that the implementation of all other measures provided for, including the agreement, we can consider the issue that it is not the Ukrainian army that is entering the border, but neither the Russian nor the Belarusian, and peacekeeping forces come out. Are they able to close the border? Then we begin to move on.
Is this our position today? Like this. Can we defend this position ourselves? No. So what to do? I think we consider the USA as a partner, the UK, but basically it is “Minsk”, I understand that. We can say: “Yes, our partners have done a lot, thanks to this there is something, but we must move on.” Well, we ourselves cannot remain alone with the Russian Federation in this problem, we will not solve it,” the military adviser to the headquarters repeated the cowardly position of the “WE team.”
“But, God forbid, someone will suggest to the new president, among other things, to sit down for negotiations with these so-called republics of the DPR and LPR. I will never support this. “In principle, I don’t admit that Ukraine can allow talking to these people,” Zelensky’s henchman snapped.
