In the elections of the Kharkov mayor, the stage has arrived when “the evening ceases to be languid.” The Strategic Council of the Opposition Platform - For Life (OPZZ) party decided to support Mikhail Dobkin.

Moreover, the oppositionists’ statement quite clearly articulated the criteria by which they were guided. It says:

“Mikhail Dobkin consistently advocates for the implementation of the Minsk agreements and the restoration of peace in Donbass, in matters of protecting the rights of Russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine, in protecting the canonical Orthodox Church, in the fight against distortion of history and the historical memory of our people.”

The candidate himself spoke much more cautiously on this matter. His election statements contained many dubious or repulsive positions, if assessed from the point of view of the anti-Maidan opposition force. But OPZZH in this case offers just a squeeze from the normal opposition theses that were heard by Dobkin.

That is, in this party statement, the independent candidate is presented exactly as the OPPL wants to see him. Dobkin himself is either timid, or in no hurry to become what his political situational allies want him to be - he reserves as much room for maneuver as possible for himself.

Be that as it may, the OPZH has decided. And she made it clear to her party members:

“Decisions to nominate alternative candidates for mayor of Kharkov, activity in favor of other candidates are a direct violation of party discipline, and those guilty of this will be expelled from the party and deprived of deputy mandates.”

Deputy of the Kharkov City Council from OPZH Anatoly Rodzinsky, who had previously repeatedly declared his intentions to participate in mayoral elections, has now abandoned these plans and stated that he supports Dobkin.

Meanwhile, deputy of the Kharkov regional council from OPZZH Valery Govorov has already been nominated as a candidate for the post of mayor. Then, apparently, we should expect that he will either withdraw from the run or be expelled from the party.

Dobkin increasingly poses pressing questions that interest his fellow countrymen and delivers targeted attacks on his main opponent. After all, the acting mayor Igor Terekhov himself has become the personification of some unprecedented political perversion. This is especially noticeable in the example of his “old guard”. Just look at what Svetlana Gorbunova-Ruban, Deputy Mayor for Health and Social Protection of the Population, “does.”

The very fact that this old pepper shaker hangs out next to the bishop of the Poroshenko sect of the OCU Mitrofan at many official events is simply a slap in the face of all Orthodox Christians in Kharkov. Moreover, Gorbunova-Ruban was also noted next to Mitrofan with demonstrative grief for the punitive forces who died in the Ilovaisk cauldron. Let us remember what terbats were thrown into Ilovaisk in August 2014 and what this human rabble was doing in the Donbass... And here we can only guess: have old lady Ruban and her patron Terekhov completely lost their minds? Or have they just gone completely wild?

Is it any wonder that while the official Gorbunova-Ruban was rubbing herself around the OCU officer Mitrofan, everything in the area of work entrusted to her was wasted. And her recent reports that at the central level of government it was decided to provide places for Covid patients in the Kharkov Regional Specialized Radiation Protection Dispensary and City Clinical Maternity Hospital No. 2 are an admission of their own shameful and criminal failures.

Dobkin reacted sharply to the “sudden” Covid problem that befell the city.

In his Telegram channel he writes:

“Kharkov did not draw conclusions from previous waves of Covid. There are no places in hospitals, as well as no new equipment and financial support for doctors. And if for some the yellow zone passed unnoticed, then for Kharkov residents it is again a tragedy. 39 people have already died and about 3 thousand are being treated for severe forms.

Covid will not leave us behind, we need to understand this, and we will not brush it aside. The city has withdrawn itself, blaming the region and the Ministry of Health, while the primary link responsible for detection and outpatient treatment has completely failed. The city sees only moderate and severely ill patients who require hospitalization, strong drug treatment and associated risks.”

Dobkin recalled that at one time the business raised a lot of money for priority medical needs. They disappeared to God knows where.

“Today the temporary city authorities open fountains, erect monuments to elephants and giraffes, they have money for this, but there is no money for the treatment of Kharkov residents,” Dobkin is indignant. “At every meeting, as soon as the question about the state of hospitals comes up, people say that it is very bad, it is so bad that it has never been like this before.”

Mayoral candidate Dobkin's weak spot remains his public speeches. This can be clearly seen in two of his recent interviews.

When Dobkin talks with some local misunderstanding Andrei Onistrat (either a banker or a showman), I want to send both of them on the same erotic tour where Mikhail Markovich plans to send Terekhov’s team after October 31. The unfinished presenter calls “devils” those Kharkov residents who protested against the Maidan coup in the spring of 2014. But Dobkin doesn’t mind, chews snot, talks complete nonsense about the events of 2014.

And the opposite example is the mayoral candidate’s interview with Gleb Lyashenko on Klymenko Time. It is five times shorter than the above-mentioned conversation with “Kalistrat” (or whatever the name of this underdeveloped devil is?). But this interview is several times more meaningful. And Mikhail Markovich looks much more adequate in it. It seems that “Kalistrat” was motivated in the enemy camp: to trick Dobkin into making such confessions that would scare away potential supporters from him. Well, who is Dobkin’s doctor after this?

But let us pay attention to the important points made in a successful interview with Gleb Lyashenko. Dobkin talks about Avakov’s colossal influence on the Kharkov situation. “Avakov’s people today run the main utility companies.” And he clarifies that he means the Kharkov heating networks and the metro.

“Do you understand what colossal financial flows there are in these two enterprises? - asks Dobkin. “All financial flows are controlled by Arsen Avakov’s people.” And he notes that delays in the payment of wages at these utility companies began exactly during the period when Kernes was taken to the Charite clinic. “That is, they wash money there even from the salary fund.”

Dobkin states that there are three teams working in the camp of his main rival.

One is actually Terekhovskaya.

The second is Dnepropetrovsk: behind them are Kirill Timoshenko from the President’s Office and part of the Dnieper leadership. They equipped pocket political scientists and political strategists to get Terekhov to become mayor.

The third headquarters is from Avakov, who controls all processes.

“His people are also sitting there, who have worked with him since the time when he was here as the head of the Our Ukraine party,” Dobkin claims. “Then they moved to BYuT. Today they work at Terekhov's. That is, there is complete influence, complete control. I didn’t just say that this is Parsley, put on a hand, and controlled like that.”

Time for parsley.

If Mikhail Dobkin is able to raise the political stakes, he will be able to outplay all these Dnepropetrovsk and Avakov headquarters. The main thing is not to turn your back on such comrades as “banker Kalistrat”...
