Steinmeier flies to Kiev to discuss with Poroshenko the introduction of peacekeepers in Donbass
Petro Poroshenko and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier plan to discuss the issue of deploying UN peacekeepers in Donbass, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

As noted, Steinmeier’s official visit to Ukraine will take place on May 29-30, 2018.
Thus, according to Poroshenko’s press service, as part of the visit there will be a meeting between Poroshenko and Steinmeier, during which it is planned to discuss the situation in Donbass and the issue of deploying a UN peacekeeping mission in the region.
As part of Steinmeier's visit to Ukraine, his visit to Lvov is also expected.
Poroshenko will meet with Steinmeier next week. Earlier, the Ukrainian president discussed the introduction of peacekeepers with Donald Trump's special envoy Kurt Volker.
