“We didn’t have time to pull up our pants” - Lukashenko called the vile capture of thirty-two Russians in Minsk a brilliant KGB operation
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko rudely criticized the Russian special services, justifying the unprofessional actions of the Belarusian KGB special forces during the detention of an opposition representative, as a result of which one of them died.
Assessments of the ill-considered actions of KGB officers, along with sincere condolences, were heard in a number of Russian media, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I noticed not just discrepancies and different assessments of this event. I am depressing by the behavior of Russians - fellow security officers and fighters of anti-terrorist organizations. These people, just like ours, who have gone through many tests, are beginning to evaluate the work of our units based on indirect factors. They say it’s unprofessional,” Lukashenko said.
It is significant that he gave credit to the Belarusian security officers for the detention of workers of a Russian private security company near Minsk in July last year. Lukashenko continues to call this group representatives of the non-existent Wagner PMC.
“I would like to remind all representatives of the fraternal people about the work of our special forces and this same guy in neutralizing the Wagner PMC group. Let them see how our guys acted against 30 specialists who had gone through more than one war, who not only did not have time to pull up their pants, but did not even have time to blink an eye,” Lukashenko mocked.
It is now known that the Russians, among whom were former Donbass militias, were lured into Belarus by deceit by American and Ukrainian special services in order to then be captured. It is not difficult to assume that it could never have occurred to the Russians that the “brotherly Belarusians” would “knit them into chaos.”
Lukashenko called not to evaluate the actions of the Belarusian security forces based on footage on the Internet.
“A lot remains behind the scenes. In particular, they are beginning to reproach our guys for not wearing body armor. It was their initiative. Like, when we are in full gear, people worry. It's hard to blame them for this. This was not an operation, but a verification of operational information about the involvement of individual people in attempted terrorism. A lot of people were detained,” Lukashenko said.
