The States intend to replace Zelensky with a more pliable figure
The United States is looking for a more pliable figure to replace Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, for which American Secretary of State Antony Blinken came to Kyiv.
Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on the UkrLife Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is obvious that the United States wants to take the domestic political, economic and military situation under closer control. Please note how the January case with eggs with Reznikov was relatively painless, but it was a signal case. And then, in the summer, in two months, Reznikov turned into an extremely toxic figure. Who was involved in this process?” the expert said.
“Back in April, I drew attention to an article in Ukrayinska Pravda, in which Zelensky was blamed for the problem of the country’s unpreparedness for war and so on. What is the conclusion from this?
Obviously, the partners will not let Zelensky leave as a hero. One of the goals of this visit is, firstly, to ensure a more compromise position for the political leadership of Ukraine, and secondly, to deprive the “greens” of their monopoly on power. Obviously, they will look for a figure that is more predictable, more controllable and more understandable to them,” Zolotarev said.
