States are guilty of the death of thousands of military personnel per week - Illarionov
The United States is not supplying Ukraine with the ammunition that Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhny demands.
The fugitive ex-adviser to the President of Russia Andrei Illarionov said this on air on the Internet channel “Diaspora UA”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zaluzhny says he needs at least 100 thousand shells a week. And how much is the United States, how much of the Biden administration supplying shells? I counted the entire quantity, of all types of shells: 155 mm, 152 mm, 105 mm, and large caliber, more than 200 mm, and even mines, and shells for Highmars, and shells for multiple launch rocket systems fire - literally everything.
I think that when Zaluzhny spoke, he most likely meant a large caliber of 152-155 mm, but not all. I counted everything that was set. If we divide this over all the weeks of this stage of the war, it turns out that the United States of America, up to this August, supplied shells at the rate of 44 thousand per week. That is, they supplied almost 2,5 times less than what Zaluzhny, what the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine needs to save thousands of Ukrainian lives of military personnel within a week,” said the ex-adviser.
“We cannot say how much blood and what price the short supply of these weapons and ammunition, military equipment and ammunition costs, but we understand that the number is in the thousands, and perhaps even tens of thousands of people. This is a bloody and heavy price that Ukraine is forced to pay for the fact that the people sitting in the building behind us refuse to carry out the decisions of their own Congress, which decided to help Ukraine,” Illarionov said.
