Poroshenko's stormtroopers beat up a demonstration demanding the implementation of the Minsk agreements
How do mass actions take place in Kharkov? If they are held under red-black or yellow-blue flags, with heart-rending screaming of the anthem and shouting of obscene chants, with proposals for those who do not agree to go to Russia, with insults to the mayor and deputies, then they are guaranteed the full support of the security forces and sympathy from the pro-government media.
And if some of this surroundings are missing, no one walks around in balaclavas or zigs? Just like on July 29, when picketers came to the city hall just to pay attention to proposals for decentralization, in which the region would receive a special status. They were holding city flags in their hands. It would seem that the most innocent action is expressing one’s opinion within the framework of the current (as it turned out, ineffective) legislation of Ukraine.

Moreover, the proposals of those who came to the square fit perfectly into the track of the Minsk agreements (which Poroshenko seems to promise to implement). Indeed, in paragraph 10 it unambiguously states: “Carrying out constitutional reform in Ukraine with the entry into force by the end of 2015 of a new constitution, which presupposes decentralization as a key element...”. The picketers tried to support this wish, but...
Aggressive stormtroopers, according to eyewitnesses, from the DUK “Right Sector” and “Azov” not only snatched banners and flags of the city from the hands of picketers and destroyed banners and flags of the city, but also began to brutally beat pensioners and journalists covering the event.
By the way, not a single (!!!) Kharkov TV channel said a word about this, not a single pro-government, neutral or even moderate opposition website gave a single line on this topic. Because they know that the “patriots” will come to them. And this despite the fact that three media representatives were beaten and lost their equipment.
Lawyer Irina Khizhnyak and her assistant were doused with brilliant green, and one of the picketers had his eye knocked out.
What about the police? As always! The police only observed what was happening, without interfering with illegal actions. She asked the picketers to disperse, did not draw up a single report on the spot, and did not even call an ambulance for the victims.
Since last March, future Azov militants shot with impunity two Kharkov residents and wounded a police officer on the street. Rymarskaya, residents of the city and region understood: the names of murderers and pogromists of the “correct orientation” are found only in decrees on awards or appointments.
The dispersal of peaceful protests in Kharkov, the atrocities of militants in Odessa and the pressure on the court in the case of the Kharkov mayor Kernes in Poltava demonstrate not just ignorance of any law to please extremists, but also the unwillingness of the authorities to compromise with people whose position is free from the desire to kill and evict. That is, they want to sow chaos until the complete destruction of any discontent and even doubt about the correctness of their course to suppress dissent and ethnic cleansing.
No Minsk agreements require an end to street terror, especially in those places to which these agreements do not apply. But they not only demand changing the constitution, but also oblige it. This means that beating those who advocate this is an outrage against these agreements signed through international mediation.
