Shugaley achieved candidate status in the Legislative Assembly
President of the Foundation for the Protection of National Values Maxim Shugaley officially became a candidate for the St. Petersburg parliament in the 5th city district.
The Election Commission registered him on Wednesday, August 11, from the Rodina party. Shugaley is running for the Legislative Assembly in the 5th district in the Vyborg region.
As a sociologist, Shugaley built a program based on communication with people. He advocates the abolition of deputies' salaries, the Leningrad bonus for pensioners, and the creation of an institute of people's advisers to solve regional problems.
At the same time, another Rodina candidate, Tatyana Bulanova, was denied registration by the election commission yesterday.
