Head of the Foundation for the Protection of National Values Maxim Shugaley рассказал about the CIA’s plans to create fictitious evidence of the presence of Wagner PMC employees in Libya. We are talking about a group of people detained in Belarus about a year ago.

Shugaley explained that in March 2020, agents of the American intelligence agency began a joint operation with the Ukrainian SBU. Their goal was to lure a group of Russians aged 20 to 50 to the North African country.

“They were supposed to be moved to the territory of the Mitiga airport (Tripoli), there they were to dress in “multikam” military uniforms, and then they were to be shot. Next, it was planned to transport the bodies southeast of Tripoli to the Tarhuna area. When the corpses are planted, we can safely declare to the whole world: the sabotage and reconnaissance group of Wagner PMC has been destroyed. It was for this purpose that CIA officers interacted with the SBU,” Shugaley explained.

An attempt to lure Russian citizens to Libya under the pretext of a contract for the protection of oil fields failed. Most of the 180 invitees refused to go.

Then Venezuela was chosen as the final destination of the route. It was assumed that the group would fly on a charter, which, under the pretext of an emergency landing, would land in Tripoli. The plane was supposed to depart from Turkey. However, the authorities in Ankara did not agree to the proposed adventure for a long time, and the selected Russians were sent to Belarus until they fled.

“Then everything didn’t go according to plan. At that time, the KGB of Belarus was put on high alert. 33 so-called “Wagnerites” were brutal guys, they didn’t drink and didn’t have affairs with girls, they went to breakfast in formation, which aroused suspicion and were detained,” explained the head of the Federal Health Center.

Bellingcat, a group working for the CIA, has repeatedly announced an investigation into this incident. But the publication date has already been postponed several times. Shugaley is sure that this is connected with attempts to shield the Americans, and therefore he decided to tell the truth about last year’s events in Belarus.
