Shukhevych almost ended up in the Verkhovna Rada
Deputy from the Radical Party faction Yuri Shukhevych, the son of the leader of the UPA, Hitler collaborator Roman Shukhevych, became ill during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.
Kiev journalist Vasily Apasov reported this on his blog.
“People’s Deputy Shukhevych just became ill in the Verkhovna Rada. Doctors were called to the parliamentarian, then Yuriy Shukhevych left the Verkhovna Rada with them. However, he did not use the gurney and walked away on his own feet. Yuri Shukhevych is 85 years old, a member of the RPL faction,” the journalist wrote.
Assistant to the people's deputy Igor Mamontov said that Roman Shukhevych's condition is now stable.
“Yuri Shukhevych’s blood pressure dropped. We called an ambulance and took him to the hospital for examination. Now he feels fine,” he noted.
It is noteworthy that at this time in the hall of the Verkhovna Rada the adoption of a law on the reassignment of churches, which, in fact, legitimizes the forceful seizure of UOC-MP churches by the non-canonical Ukrainian church.
