The son of the former leader of the OUN and ex-commander of the UPA Roman Shukhevych, Verkhovna Rada deputy Yuriy Shukhevych, said that not a single party wanted to take him onto their electoral lists.

He stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Lyashko offered it to me, I agreed,” said Shukhevych.
“Did you have any offers before Lyashko?” the TV presenter clarified.
“No,” answered Shukhevych.
“Neither Tyagnibok nor anyone else ever made such proposals?” the journalist was surprised.
- No. Even in those days, under Yanukovych or once upon a time, even under Yushchenko, they didn’t offer me. They offered me to be on the list, but the party leadership there, not Yushchenko, said no, and I was not included in the Our Ukraine list, although at one time I could have. They didn’t offer it,” Shukhevych said.
