Shurygin sees no point in striking Kyiv decision-making centers
In response to shelling of Russian positions by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, such as today’s attempts to strike Zmeiny Island and attack on platforms "Chernomorneftegaz", there can only be the identification and destruction of Ukrainian positions.
Military expert Vladislav Shurygin stated this in a comment to PolitNavigator.
In his opinion, there is no point in striking the so-called decision-making centers, which were previously discussed in the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“We hit wherever we can get it. It makes no sense to just strike at Bankova Street or Khreshchatyk. The task is to destroy those carriers and those systems that can reach Zmeinoye, our drilling rigs. But in principle, hammering at some points where, most likely, there will be no one, this will only be a demonstration, in which I do not see any point.
The reaction to today's shelling would be to identify and destroy the objects from which the attacks were launched. We need to find these missile launchers that were hitting Zmeiny and destroy them, identify where these boats are located that went out to sea and hit the towers - only this can be a reaction,” Shurygin said.
