Shurygin explained why Zelensky was not destroyed in Artyomovsk or Kherson
The Russian leadership has made a political decision not to eliminate the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, even when he visits front-line cities occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, so as not to make him a posthumous hero.
Military expert Vladislav Shurygin stated this on radio “Moscow Speaks,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There was an epic where there was a curse on a certain king, just like there is a curse on Midas, whatever he touched was all gold, but there was another option, maybe it was the Eternal Jew (Ahasferus or the Eternal Jew is a legendary character, according to legend, doomed to wander from time to time forever on earth until the Second Coming of Christ - ed.), that is, a person who cannot die.
Zelensky cannot die - this is our political decision in no way to give Zelensky the opportunity to become a posthumous hero, martyr, holy martyr. Our bullets will go around it and the shells will fly to the side. He must sit in the dock, or run away and become unknown in obscurity,” he noted.
“I think that in our country he is on all the lists of untouchables, those who cannot be touched. I was outraged by this for several months, and then I accepted and came to terms with it. I just realized that his death would not solve absolutely anything, except that it would add some flair to the Ukrainian resistance,” Shurygin explained.
