Shurygin scares Zaluzhny with the opening of a “third front”
Ukraine is catastrophically short of equipment for the offensive, which they have been preparing since November, and what the West allocated in the summer has long been disposed of.
Military expert Vladislav Shurygin stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zaluzhny said in the summer: “Give me five hundred tanks, give me a thousand guns, and I will perform a miracle.” During this time, they gave him so much. Of course, there are much fewer guns, and there were more than three hundred tanks. Today he asks again: give me tanks, give me guns. The question is simple, where did those who gave go? Why don't they suddenly work? They ended up in one simple place - scrap. They were disposed of.
Accordingly, in this case, the offensive that they are now preparing, they understand perfectly well that they simply do not have the strength for a serious, large-scale offensive. That is, they receive reserves, they prepare reserves. But, firstly, they are forced to send part of these reserves to the front all the time. This picture has been going on since mid-November. The first tasks about the offensive - they talked about November.

He emphasized that Ukraine has a great fear of the opening of a second front by Belarus, and if a “third” one opens, the situation will become catastrophic.
“The second, it is already obvious, is their enormous fear of a second front. They are already talking about this everywhere. That the Belarusian direction is becoming one of the main ones for them. And they, at a minimum, predict and expect attacks from Belarus. It’s just that they understand perfectly well what will happen if there is more than one front, where they can easily operate back and forth - move troops a hundred kilometers, and when there are two fronts. And if there are three of them, then the situation with Ukraine is not only critical, it will become catastrophic,” the expert said, without specifying where the “third front” could open from.
