Shushkevich staged an anti-Russian demarche at a press conference
The former head of the Supreme Council of Belarus, signatory of the criminal Belovezhskaya Accords Stanislav Shushkevich staged a demarche at a press conference in Moscow, where the results of the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko were discussed.
“The main topic of negotiations between Lukashenko and Putin is the preservation of personal power. They are sick people, drug addicts. They are passionate about personal power and look for ways to maintain it. The variety of these methods is amazing: pardoning Khodorkovsky, then an attempt to poison someone, threatening everyone with some kind of missile that cannot exist. The people in Belarus no longer tolerate this lying president; there are already certain forces in Russia,” said Shushkevich.
He somewhat confusedly criticized Putin's recent article on Ukraine, repeating the theses of Ukrainian Nazis about the “oppression of everything Ukrainian” in the Russian Empire and the USSR.
“A person who does not have a normal historical education took it upon himself to write how to treat Ukraine. 300 years of suppression of the Ukrainian have not been noticed. How to stop this?
These people have lost their dignity. We must hope that there are worthy people around them. We need to invite Yuz Aleshkovsky (Jewish poet who fled from the USSR to the USA - ed.), who wrote the song: Comrade Putin, you are a great scientist, you don’t know any sense in folk studies. And it's time to make it public. There is no need to return to the methods of the US struggle for independence. There the right of the people to revolt was asserted. Now the immediate environment must ensure that these peoples have normal rights,” Shushkevich said.
