Shuster praises the “elections” to the Rada, calling them an example for Russia
Kyiv, October 28 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – TV presenter Savik Shuster called the past elections to the Verkhovna Rada an example for Russia.

“You know, when some kind of common language begins, at least a conversation (between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, - ed.)? When will Russia hold at least the same elections as the day before in Ukraine? Let the turnout be less than 50%, but different parties will participate, the opposition will take its toll, the Kremlin will get as much as it gets. And now it’s very difficult to talk with this imperial-Soviet leadership,” Shuster said.
“The Kremlin now lives in Mayakovsky’s mentality. Remember the poem "Passport"? Poland – geographical news! Today, for the Kremlin, Ukraine is geographical news. And when they stop thinking like that, when they understand that this is a country that has the right to choose its own path, whatever it may be...” the TV presenter added.
He expressed his conviction that a change of power in Russia is quite possible.
“Of course, I admit it. Did you assume that 1990 would happen in 91? You see, history is moving very quickly now,” says Schuster.
