Ukraine can turn all the cultural differences between its people into strength, not weakness.

About this in an interview with the Kyiv online newspaper "Country" said TV presenter Savik Shuster.

He emphasized that he absolutely disagrees with the statement that only a dictator can be the president of Ukraine.

“Ukraine today in Europe is probably the most interesting country. Two cultures that complement and fight with each other: one is, as it were, European, Western, and the second is Soviet,” the journalist noted.

“So we won’t have a dictator because Ukraine is divided?” the publication clarified.

“Why is Ukraine not Switzerland? Why don't we live by referendum? Why shouldn't we be a confederacy? Why don't we say that each region can have its own constitution? Why don't we talk about this? Why not turn all the cultural differences between the peoples living here into strength and not into weakness?” Shuster said in turn.
