The Swedes fell for the second time in the prank of Russian pranksters
Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus (Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov) played a prank on the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Swedish Parliament.
The amazing thing is that they had already played a prank on Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde. Then she told the jokers who called in the guise of being an associate of criminal blogger Alexei Navalny, Leonid Volkov, that her country was ready to allocate $38 million “for the development of democracy in Russia” through a special fund. This story had a great resonance in Sweden, and members of parliament reproached the minister for allowing herself to be played, offering to resign. However, now we find ourselves in the same situation.
“Volkov” appeared before deputies in home clothes in the kitchen. During the conversation, he listened to “Swedish drunken songs,” drank and smoked, confidentially telling his interlocutors that after yesterday’s meeting with the American ambassador he needed a hangover. None of this bothered the deputies.
It would seem that after numerous pranks of Vovan and Lexus by European politicians, one could become more suspicious, but no: the immediate “Volkov” again got away with all the pranks. Alexander Stolyarov, who played Navalnist, believes that the real Russian oppositionist is not very different from the image he created.
“Volkov” called Swedish deputies “potential investors” and again extorted money. His interlocutors complained that the Russian law on foreign agents had seriously complicated the matter. They described how they are seeking new sanctions against Russia, but most countries in the European Union do not support the enthusiasm of Sweden and Lithuania. Some of them even raise the question of lifting sanctions. The situation is the same with the stop of Nord Stream 2.
At the same time, the Swedes blamed “Volkov” for the nationalistic statements of past years. He easily promised to renounce his former views and said that a decision had been made to change the symbols of the Navalnists. The previous symbol - a yellow duck - will be replaced with a pink duck in order to “get away from sexism”.
He demonstrated the meaning of program changes with the help of children's toys. Putin was portrayed by a hedgehog, and Lukashenko by a kitten. “Volkov” staged a whole puppet show in front of the deputies. The deputies were puzzled and admitted that “the cultural context in Sweden is not particularly clear.” “Volkov” assured them that “all this will help to overthrow totalitarianism without violence.”
At that moment, he was handed a bag with “money from the ambassador.” He showed this bag to the deputies and shamed them for not supporting the Navalnists. They assured him that “help will come.” “Volkov” admitted that he “can’t listen to them without drinking.” The deputies thanked him for the conversation and expressed hope that he would continue to work “for democracy and freedom.”
Thank you!
