The Swiss are buying a Lviv bank

On September 12, Lviv Bank submitted the necessary documentation to the National Bank of Ukraine to approve the investment of “a new strategic shareholder, the independent Swiss asset management company ResponsAbility Participations AG,” the bank reported.
The owner of Bank Lviv (its central office is in Lviv), Margeir Peturson, claims that their investor shares the belief that “a local bank in Lviv is better suited to serve clients in Western Ukraine.” We are talking about the development of a “regional bank for small and medium-sized businesses and individuals.” According to ZAXID.NET, we are talking about purchasing a 40% stake.
According to the bank, as of June 26, 2017, Icelandic citizen Maregir Peturson owned 99,8999% of the shares of Lviv Bank.
