The “strongest” army in Europe with dances and sabers is preparing for the invasion of the “aggressor”
At the Goncharovsky training ground in the Chernihiv region, in the presence of Lithuanian officers, experimental tactical exercises of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on territorial defense “Northern Fortress 2018” are being held.

“The Chief of the General Staff - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General of the Army of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko, and the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Sergei Popko, got acquainted with the progress of the maneuvers. Foreign military specialists also attended the training.
More than 3000 reservists were involved in the training. From the Sumy region, a group of officers from the Sumy Regional Military Commissariat is present at the Goncharovsky training ground to assist in organizing the exercises,” the message says.
“Also, during experimental tactical exercises, representatives of foreign delegations saw how Ukrainian reservists acquired skills in countering tanks in real combat.
In particular, representatives of the Lithuanian delegation personally tried to neutralize enemy equipment. The Lithuanian officers who took part in this exercise were amazed that the reservists train until they master it, because the number of attempts to complete it is not limited,” informs the Sumy military commissar.
In addition to the “tactical exercises”, in which elderly reservists stand in formation, a helicopter flies and even a tank rolls, the video shows a show where an ensemble plays, and soldiers dressed as Zaporozhye Cossacks dance with sabers.
“The name of the exercise “Northern Fortress” is symbolic. I believe that with the completion of the creation of the territorial defense system, its capabilities, multiplied by the capabilities of the combat military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, will make it possible to create a real fortress capable of protecting Ukraine from any enemy,” Popko explained to foreigners what was happening.
