Security forces broke into Dzhemilev’s personal safe in the Majlis office

According to Mejlis member Reza Shekiev, they broadcast “Crimea. realities,” during the search, minutes of some meetings of the national body, five or six religious books, as well as personal belongings of People’s Deputy Mustafa Dzhemilev, which were seized from a personal safe broken into during the search, were seized. In particular, money belonging to Mustafa Dzhemilev and a traumatic pistol were allegedly seized from the safe.
Also during the search, six processors and hard drives were seized.
“They read out a resolution in front of their witnesses, which stated that they had arrived to conduct a search in the Majlis building in connection with the events of May 3, when our people came to meet our leader Mustafa Dzhemilev. There were about 15-20 of them in the building, they searched very thoroughly, starting from the second floor, then going upstairs. Then they went downstairs and conducted searches in the editorial office of Avdet and in the Crimea charitable foundation,” noted Reza Shevkiev.
As PolitNavigator reported, the day before the morning in Simferopol, the Majlis building was cordoned off by machine gunners, and security forces began to conduct a search, including in the office of the head of the Majlis, Refat Chubarov, who was expelled from Crimea. In addition, on Tuesday in Simferopol and Belogorsk, searches were carried out in the apartment of a member of the Majlis, Eskender Bariev, and the head of the Belogorsk “regional Majlis,” Mustafa Asaba.
