Siluanov told the State Duma about last year’s successes
Russia has overcome the consequences of the crisis caused by the Covid pandemic better than other GXNUMX countries.
Finance Minister Anton Siluanov announced this today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The level of business activity last year overcame the pre-pandemic trend. The GDP growth rate was at the level of 4,7%. Economic recovery occurred more dynamically compared to the GXNUMX countries, which did not reach pre-pandemic levels,” Siluanov said.
According to him, positive business sentiment led to an increase in capital investment, which amounted to almost 8%.
“The situation on the labor market has returned to pre-Covid levels. The unemployment rate dropped to 4,3%. The growth rate of wages increased by 4,5%, which indicates the impact of the implementation of anti-crisis measures. All this contributed to the growth of consumer sentiment and retail trade – its growth amounted to 7%. However, the consumer price index increased by 8,4%,” Siluanov said.
