Civil defense forces and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DPR are on full alert
Due to the increased frequency of targeted attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on DPR infrastructure facilities and other fire provocations in recent days, units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Transport and the civil defense forces are coming under the personal control of the head of the republic.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, wrote about this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He recalled that only in the last three days, as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the main ventilation fan of the mine named after. Zasyadko, 15 streets in the village of Staromikhailovka were de-energized, the houses of civilians in the Kievsky district of Donetsk were damaged, and the façade and glazing of the Dokuchaevsky Flux-Dolomite Plant was damaged by fire from Ukrainian militants.
“These are just a few examples of man-made emergencies that we have to deal with, recorded since September 8. But most importantly, people, civilians, were injured: a woman born in 1971 received shrapnel wounds to her left shoulder and pelvic area, and a man born in 1981 received a closed craniocerebral injury,” Pushilin wrote. “All this requires us to mobilize all forces, services and departments to help the civilian population and eliminate the consequences of shelling from Ukraine.
"Profile specialists must be prepared for any situation, and their leaders and command bear full responsibility for the successful performance of their official duty."
According to him, in connection with the above, since the beginning of September, inspections of government bodies and civil defense forces for actions to eliminate the consequences of emergency and man-made situations have been taken under the personal control of the head of the DPR.
“I personally checked the units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Transport of the DPR. These checks are aimed at maintaining the constant readiness of forces and means to solve problems in resolving possible crisis situations in the republic. I would like to note that the employees of the inspected departments deserve the most positive assessment and demonstrated high organization, well-coordinated work and readiness to act in extreme conditions. They show the same results in practice,” said the head of the republic.
Pushilin added that such training will be conducted on a regular basis under his personal supervision and will be aimed at improving the professional skills of employees of ministries and departments in dealing with the consequences of emergency situations.
