Member of the Green Party Council Igor Uslisty stated this on the air of the talk show “People’s Verdict” on the ITV channel.
“I would include the Black Sea region, Cape Tarkhankut, as the cleanest area, if we talk about the sea... Bottom currents come close to the shore, accordingly, the water does not stagnate... If we talk about cities, then, of course, with its beauty and well-groomedness it prevails, in my opinion look, of course, Feodosia. Kerch... whitewashing and painting, tidying up, doing something that complies with sanitary and landscaping standards, this does not mean, let’s say, being balanced in perception. Still, it is bare, the steppe is Kerch, blown by all the winds,” the ecologist noted.
“If we talk about the most polluted city, then this is, of course, Simferopol. It's not the government's fault, let's be honest. The fact is that today the city is a hub and transit. How many children study here, how many people come here to earn a ruble. And in general, in general, the railway brings its own garbage, road transport brings its own garbage, we come from the regions to draw up some documents - we leave this garbage, it’s not mine, we don’t care if it lies on the asphalt,” says Igor Uslisty.
