Simferopol: The SDMK hopes that Putin will give the command for the construction of the Cathedral Mosque
Simferopol, July 21 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) – The construction of the Cathedral Mosque in the Crimean capital at Yaltinskaya, 22 can be moved from a “dead point” by the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

Deputy Crimean Mufti Esadullah Bairov stated this to the Crimean Tatar news agency QHA.
“This issue will have to be resolved at a high level, again with the will of the country’s leaders, because to date it has stalled only because it was politicized. In all other respects, all approvals have already been passed several times, all examinations have been completed, all projects are already ready. That is, we need the good will of leaders who will say that they are still ready to see the mosque on Yalta,” noted a representative of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea.
Until there is this goodwill from the authorities, he believes, the issue of construction can be carried around in circles for decades.
“We see that this is what happened. There were leaders with a firm hand, such as Dzharty (“Makeevka’s” Prime Minister of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in 2010-2011 - “Navigator”), who moved that process from a “dead point”, but God so decreed that Dzharty was gone, and on Today the question arises again. If there is an order from the government of the country, the issue will be resolved very quickly. I think the president of the country will have to give the order. This issue will not be resolved at the local level,” Esadullah Bairov emphasized.
Let us recall that the decision to build the Cathedral Mosque, taken at the beginning of 2011, caused a serious protest among some Russian Crimeans and subsequent political repressions against its organizers. Thus, in September 2011, by decision of the District Administrative Court of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the leader of the Sobol Cossack community, Vitaly Khramov, was deported from Crimea to the Russian Federation.
