The head of the information support department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Ivanov, told reporters in Simferopol.
“Around 14.20 a fire was reported at the address Pobedy Avenue - Obezdnaya Street. The former building of Krym-Lada, now the issue of owner and ownership is being clarified; the Bosch-Service company is located in the same building. The fire occurred during the dismantling of equipment; according to a preliminary version, the cause of the fire could have been gas welding work, as a result of which the insulation and insulation sheathing in the painting booths ignited,” the press officer noted.
According to him, in extinguishing the fire, the area of which was 200 square meters. m., 20 personnel took part.
“The fire has been localized, the structures are now being dismantled and small fires are being extinguished. If the fire occurred as a result of gas welding work, then the culprits will be identified accordingly; at a minimum, this will be a fine for violating fire safety rules,” emphasized Vladimir Ivanov.
