Kyiv, April 10 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Journalists were shown the burned office of the Communist Party of Ukraine, held by Maidan activists until yesterday evening. A press conference was held by the leader of the Communist Party of Ukraine, Petro Symonenko, right in the courtyard of the destroyed building.

No one is allowed inside so as not to interfere with the work of the investigative team. The Navigator correspondent managed to climb onto the window sill on the first floor and take several photographs from there.
“Those who declared on the Maidan about the fight against lawlessness and lawlessness, themselves caused chaos and lawlessness,” Pyotr Symonenko described what happened.
As employees of the apparatus of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine told the Navigator correspondent, the building caught fire at about 22-00 minutes, 15 minutes after the invaders left it. And a few hours earlier, at about 18-00, the bailiff read out to them the decision on the need to vacate the office of the Communist Party, which was done only after lengthy negotiations. According to Navigator’s interlocutors, this is how the invaders took revenge for the decision to evict them.
Currently, mountains of books and broken furniture are piled in the courtyard; several floors of the building are completely burned out. It is worth noting that not only communist literature was thrown onto the street, but also books about Ukrainian national clothing and even works by the modern Ukrainian historian Valery Soldatenko about the leaders of the UPR Symon Petlyura and Vladimir Vinnychenko. There are also symbols of the Great Patriotic War lying around everywhere. According to Pyotr Simonenko, earlier a copy of the Victory Banner was trampled here and then burned.
In addition, in the yard, mixed with Komsomol tickets, there are armbands of the Svoboda party. The fact is that from the moment of the capture, the self-defense hundred named after Svyatoslav the Brave was based here, which included Svoboda-controlled activists from the radical nationalist group C14.
It is noteworthy that the seizure and subsequent arson of the Communist Party of Ukraine office took place under the nose of law enforcement officers - literally a hundred meters away is the building of the Main Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine.
