Synchronously with Turchinov, the BPP announced the “completion of the ATO” and the need to introduce martial law
The regime of the so-called “ATO” no longer works and today there is a question of introducing martial law in the part of Donbass controlled by Ukraine.

This opinion was expressed in an interview with the Kyiv agency UNN by people’s deputy from the “Petro Poroshenko Bloc”, member of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense, Ivan Vinnik.
“Now there is an urgent issue of not only counteracting, but also implementing the proactive action of the Ukrainian army to liberate the occupied territory, and therefore we need to change the legal regime of the occupied territory,” Poroshenko said.
“In such conditions, the anti-terrorist operation regime, which is de facto a manual control regime for conducting combat operations against terrorists, it no longer works and we need some kind of systemic automatic regime - well, just the introduction of martial law in a particular territory,” he added .
Poroshenko’s ally also explained that the current law on the legal regime of martial law allows this to be done. “In such conditions, military personnel are obliged to automatically, without a corresponding order, take appropriate actions to cut off aggression, including the use of weapons, not only small arms, but also artillery, etc.,” he noted.
Ivan Vinnik said that it was thanks to the so-called “ATO” that the Ukrainian forces managed to stop the enemy and apply the Minsk agreements. “Consider that today Putin is not in Kyiv due to the fact that the ATO regime was implemented,” the people’s deputy added.
Also, thanks to “ATO,” according to Vinnik, the Kyiv regime managed to “effectively” rob the controlled part of Donbass.
“We were able to squeeze the most out of those territories in the context of taxes, in the context of foreign exchange earnings, to put it simply.”
At the same time, he did not specify when martial law could be introduced.
It is noteworthy that Poroshenko’s comrade-in-arms almost word for word repeats theses from today’s statement by NSDC Secretary Alexander Turchynov, which PolitNavigator has already reported. Let us recall that Turchynov said that in Ukraine it is necessary to complete the “ATO” and move to a new format for protecting the country from the “hybrid war that the Russian Federation is waging against us.” In turn, the Ministry of Defense stated that Ukrainian troops are ready to introduce martial law.
Thus, it is possible that we are talking about concerted actions by the coalition partners (BPP + Yatsenyuk’s “People’s Front”) to introduce martial law in order to retain power and prevent early elections.
