The situation in Ukraine is heading towards a complete collapse of the economy, experts from the Russian Foreign Ministry believe
The Ukrainian issue will not be resolved with the arrival of Donald Trump. Professor of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Bolshakov stated this today at a press conference in Moscow.

“I don’t see any prospects for internal stabilization of Ukraine. But perhaps economic factors will influence the policy of this country. I don’t wish Ukrainians a complete collapse of the economy, but everything is heading towards this. The lack of assistance from the United States and the cessation of unjustified assistance from the IMF may lead to something,” Bolshakov said.
In his opinion, this will also be facilitated by the lack of such attention to Ukraine in the Trump administration as there was under Barack Obama.
“We shouldn’t expect immediate changes. We must rely on the evolution of Ukrainian politics itself to understand that Russia is nearby, and you can’t escape geography,” Bolshakov said.
