The situation in the Ukrainian Armed Forces allows only punitive strikes
The Ukrainian military group involved in the punitive operation in Donbass is not ready for protracted hostilities - its condition allows only short-term strikes or shelling of the LDPR with the aim of terrorizing the population.
Former adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Selivanov, now serving in the LPR, stated this on the Lugansk24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, Ukrainian officers and generals are stealing military aid from the West, soldiers do not want to die for Ukraine, plus in most brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine there is a constant shortage of personnel.
“The dynamics of growth in the capabilities of the Ukrainian army are not constant, because both we and these Western curators of Ukraine are dealing with the same human material, we are dealing with the same Ukrainians, we are dealing with the reluctance of ordinary citizens of Ukraine to fight. It’s one thing to receive money for staying in the Ukrainian army, even for going to combat positions, for some kind of risk. It’s another thing to actually go on the attack and understand that they’re going to kill you,” Selivanov said.
He recalled that the West has to deal with thieving officers and generals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who profit from foreign military assistance and embellish the real state of affairs in the army.
“We know that the majority of Ukrainian brigades of the Ukrainian armed forces are short-staffed. We know, including from those Ukrainian military personnel who went over to the side of the LPR and DPR, that today there are people serving in these brigades who do not want to fight, who, instead of thinking about their military duty, like they understand, they think about alcohol and drugs. This information is known to everyone and not only to us, and not only to the Ukrainian military authorities, but also to their overseas curators. Therefore, the Ukrainian army today, although the instrument is expensive, although it is “loaded” with new equipment, new devices, it is unreliable. And it is incapable of prolonged combat operations. Yes, they are capable of striking, they are capable of shelling our cities, they are capable of causing damage, killing people,” said the military man.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the national battalions are only capable of terrorist attacks.
“Not only do they not have enough ammunition to see a serious modern war, but most importantly, they don’t have enough human resources, because even the most frostbitten Ukrainian Nazis, some of whom remained in the ranks of the armed forces, they still won’t die for Ukraine.” want,” Selivanov emphasized.
