Sivkov explained why the Russian Aerospace Forces do not destroy APU clusters
Russian Aerospace Forces do not carry out bombing strikes on clusters of Ukrainian Armed Forces, allegedly because they are dispersed throughout cities.
Military expert Konstantin Sivkov stated this on the radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“We know where their troops are concentrated. It is reported that there are about 40 thousand in the Zaporozhye direction, about 80 thousand in the Artyomovsk direction, some are near Transnistria. That is, we see and know. So why don’t we bomb such a huge concentration of troops to hell?”, asked the presenter.
“Let's start with the fact that these 40 thousand are not standing in formation on the parade ground. They are distributed in different places. These are not point targets, but area targets, so they must be hit not with high-precision missiles, but with carpet bombing from an airplane, covering the area and destroying all living things and equipment there with large bomb strikes.
Why aren't the blows thrown? Are applied. Information leaked that the Ukrainian Armed Forces troops prepared for the attack were destroyed by artillery and aviation fire. This happens periodically,” the expert noted.
In his opinion, the Russian army will adhere to the same tactics as when retreating from Kherson, and will try to destroy the Ukrainian Armed Forces with artillery fire outside populated areas.
“But the point is that now they are distributed in small groups throughout populated areas; they are not standing in the field. We do not hit populated areas.
But when they begin to advance along routes to the initial positions for the attack, then they will begin to hit them especially diligently. An example of this could be the evacuation of our troops from the Kherson bridgehead.
Then the Ukrainian Armed Forces began to advance to the areas where our covering troops were located, but were stopped by an artillery strike. That is, they walked along the route and were destroyed. I think it will be the same now,” added Sivkov.
