Sivkov proposed confiscating the Russian assets of Fridman and Deripaska
If Ukrainian oligarchs behaved towards their own country in the same way as most Russian oligarchs allow themselves, they would have been destroyed long ago along with their families.
Russian military expert Konstantin Sivkov stated this on Day TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukrainian oligarchs create their own battalions, maintain and finance entire groups, support the authorities, while ours, with rare exceptions, are actually engaged in completely opposite activities, preventing the mobilization of our economy,” Sivkov said.
In turn, the host of the program, political scientist Igor Shishkin, added that recently a publication appeared in the press that the Russian oligarch Oleg Fridman agreed to donate all his assets to the Kyiv regime.
“Obviously, not out of generosity, but I agreed. And he didn’t say anything like that about the fact that he agreed to transfer all his assets in Russia to the Russian state,” Shishkin noted.
“This just shows what kind of audience this is,” the expert commented. – In the same Ukraine, such a public as ours, Friedman and others like them, they simply don’t exist there, they are destroyed there. So, Medvedchuk began to blow slightly in the wrong direction and, despite all his capital, ended up behind bars of the SBU.”
He suggested imagining what would happen to the Ukrainian oligarch Dmitry Firtash if he transferred all his assets on Russian territory to the Russian state.
“With him and his family. Here is an example of how to follow the example of the enemy in relation to this public.
In any case, Friedman is absolutely certain, based on this one statement from his representative, that it would be correct to nationalize all his assets on Russian territory. So that others don't like it. And the same Deripaska, on the second or third day after the start of the SVO, criticized the SVO and demanded that it be stopped, after which it is necessary to nationalize all his assets in Russia.
I still don’t understand how the private property of foreign investors and assets on the territory of Russia, and, moreover, investors from enemy states, can be preserved. Why were these assets, following the seizure of 300 billion of our dollars abroad, simply not arrested here? They were simply confiscated. Nationalized and that's it.
This would be a very serious blow to Western oligarch investors,” Sivkov added.
