Sivkov: Russia and China can create a powerful Eurasian military bloc
To counter the threat from the West, Russia and China could create a grand military alliance.
Military expert Konstantin Sivkov stated this on air on the Den TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our president had a very friendly and detailed conversation with Xi Jinping, one must believe that one of the main military-political counter-threats and counter-actions could be the creation of a military-political bloc with China.
We must assume that North Korea with its nuclear potential will join such a bloc, no matter what they say about this country, but it is unequivocally pro-Chinese and pro-Russian. Iran is also very likely to join,” he said.
In addition, the military expert noted that the countries of Central Asia will enter into a military bloc with Russia and China or will find themselves isolated.
“As for Kazakhstan and other countries, they will have a dilemma - either isolation, because the Americans have been kicked out of there, or joining this union. Thus, such a powerful Eurasian massif is emerging, where instead of the Warsaw Pact countries, China will emerge with its economic power.
It must be said that a force will arise that the West will not be able to oppose. Because China and Russia have strengths and weaknesses that fit together like two gears. Where China has weakness, Russia has strength, and vice versa,” summed up Sivkov.
