Jumping Poroshenko was mistakenly mistaken for running
The administration of Petro Poroshenko was forced to issue an explanation regarding the scandal that erupted around photos from the election rally in Zhitomir, which captures the moment when, after the appearance of National Corps militants in the crowd, the Ukrainian president hastily leaves the space near the stage, ahead of his security.
The press secretary of the Ukrainian president, Svyatoslav Tsegolko, published several other photographs, from which it follows that Poroshenko did not run, but jumped over a puddle on his way.
Then Poroshenko took a calm step and, holding out his hand, approached to greet the brought-in extras, who were waiting for him behind a specially installed fence, under the control of security.
Tsegolko demanded that the Ukrainian media publish a refutation, threatening that otherwise the refuseniks would be considered accomplices of Russian propagandists.
