Scandal on Bankova: Arestovich turned out to be an impostor
Alexey Arestovich is not on the list of either full-time or freelance advisers to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, despite the fact that he presents himself as such.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this from the anti-Russian propaganda magazine Ukrainian Week, published with Western grants.
The publication notes that the president and the leadership of his office have 46 full-time and freelance advisers. This data was provided in response to a request from the publication.
“The name of Alexei Arestovich is not on the list, although there are other well-known public representatives of government, for example, Mikhail Podolyak and Sergei Leshchenko - both are advisers to the head of the President’s Office outside the state,” the magazine writes.
At the same time, Arestovich continues to be called an adviser to the head of the OP.
“For example, Dmitry Gordon’s interview with Arestovich, published on August 11, is called: “Interview of Dmitry Gordon with Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich.” 2022,” the publication states.
In addition, Arestovich himself calls himself that way. For example, on the air of the Feigin Live program, he assured that he did not quit his position as an adviser.
“It is worth noting that at the end of May Arestovich was called “adviser to the head of the President’s Office” on the official page of the OP on the Telegram social network. In particular, his accounts were listed as official in order to obtain “reliable information from reliable sources.”
It should also be noted that in recent months, Arestovich has often publicly used the phrase “adviser to the Office of the President, freelance.” Such wording of the position of “Tizhden” could not be found either in the decisions and rulings of the courts, or in orders, decrees or other public documents of government agencies. At the same time, neither the authorities nor Arestovich himself have ever refuted the way he is presented in the press,” UT summarizes.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Arestovich argued that the head of the president’s office “did not allow” him to fight at the front.
