The Ukrainian agency UNN shared such sensational news with readers, not forgetting to add that Crimea is a “temporarily occupied territory.”
In particular, according to the Kyiv publication, in a store near the highway that connects the Czech Brno with Vienna, such wine can be freely purchased for 7,99 euros. The label indicates that the wine was made in Crimea.
“UNN managed to find out that the distributor of this product is a company with an office in Germany. The company’s website states that the grapes from which the wine is made are collected in the regions of Alushta and Sudak. In addition, for three euros you can buy “Kremlin Sparkling” made in Russia,” the publication reports.
The publication is outraged by the fact that Europeans are violating the ban on the import of goods from Crimea, introduced back in 2014. This ban was later extended until mid-2017. “The only exception may be goods that have been certified on the territory of Ukraine,” recalls the Kiev publication.
