Scandal in Germany: The Minister of Defense found herself without a diploma
Ukraine has already become accustomed to press reports mentioning fake diplomas of officials and deputies. However, one should not think that in the European Union things are different in this area. As the German press recently reported, one of the most prestigious universities in the world, Stanford, made a statement that German Defense Minister Ursula Von Der Lein does not have the right to use the name of the university in her biography.

The minister's official record indicates that she was a student at this university and also carried out scientific research at it.
However, the university said it did not issue any documents to Von Der Lein, and she is not allowed to mention the name of the school in her biography.
However, the federal minister's problems did not end there.
She is currently awaiting a decision from the Hannover Medical School on the fairness of awarding her degree due to suspicions of plagiarism in her PhD thesis, which she defended in the 90s.
The whole point is that in Germany there is an anonymous underground organization that is engaged in exposing plagiarism in the scientific works of high officials. Previously, unknown activists had already achieved the resignation and deprivation of the academic degree of the Minister of Education Annette Chavan and the deprivation of the degree of the former Minister of Defense Karl-Theodor Guttenberg.
