Scandal: instead of the leader of C14, his namesake artist was included in the Russian sanctions list
Ukrainian gallerist and curator of art exhibitions Evgeniy Karas said that he was included in the Russian sanctions list by mistake - due to the incompetence of Russian officials who confused him with the odious namesake leader of the neo-Nazi group C14 - also Evgeniy Karas, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Ukrainian gallery owner stated this in a comment to the !112-Ukraine channel.”
“I think that this is the result of the finest work of the Russian government services. It's amazing to find a namesake and replace one with another. I have a suspicion that this is all being advised by some directors who come up with such incredible intricacies,” ironically commented the artist, who is more than 13 years older than his neo-Nazi namesake.
“We understand that this is either a vulgar mistake, or such a well-thought-out thing so that Russia is talked about on all channels as a country that spends a lot of money to dull it so brightly. For me, this is such a permanent performance into which enormous resources are invested,” he added.
Let us add that Karas the gallerist and Karas the leader of C14 do not have the same years and birthdays.
