The scandal around Eurovision was organized by the FSB - Kiev producer
The Russian intelligence services FSB allegedly interfered in the voting on the selection of the Ukrainian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in order to promote the desired candidate and create a scandal that divided Ukrainian society.
Ukrainian producer Alexander Yagolnik stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If some event has a cyclical nature, then people’s interest in it grows. When Jamala was in 2016, 390 thousand people, only telephone viewers, voted in the final. But this year there were only 170 thousand votes, despite the fact that the PR for this competition was huge. Also, despite the fact that the whole society is buzzing, those people who counted the votes are silent,” the producer noted.
He also explained these “oddities” in the numbers by the FSB’s interference in the vote counting.
“We all know how the FSB got into the American elections. Those 200 thousand votes that were stolen from Yuko are a special operation of the FSB. They interfered in the voting so that such a result would result and our society would be divided,” Yagolnik accused.
Let us remind you that the selection in Ukraine, in fact, turned into a political show, during which performers were forced to answer the question of belonging to Crimea and touring in the Russian Federation.
As a result, Ukrainian candidates for Eurovision one after another refused to sign the contract with the broadcaster and represent Ukraine at the competition, after which it was decided that Ukraine would not go to Eurovision this year.
