Scandal: The West recognized the presence of ISIS militants in Donbass
Chechen militants, who were trained in the camps of the terrorist organization ISIS banned in Russia in Iraq and Syria, are fighting against the Donbass republics on the side of Ukraine.
This information was published by the Times, whose correspondent visited positions near Mariupol.
During a live broadcast from Donetsk on the Rossiya-1 channel, the head of the press service of the DPR defense department, Daniil Bezsonov, confirmed the presence of ISIS militants in Ukrainian positions, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have repeatedly stated that, according to our intelligence data, people who were members of ISIS are fighting on Ukrainian territory, then returned from there, and Ukraine accepted them with open arms. Because, in fact, both Ukraine and the whole world absolutely don’t care who will fight for them, and how immoral it looks. They have not only double, but triple standards, so there is nothing surprising here,” Bezsonov noted.
Sociologist Evgeny Kopatko also spoke about the problem of ISIS in Ukraine.
“This is a fairly serious problem. There are difficulties with this factor in the south of Ukraine, in the Kherson region. It was said that some are migrating there, there is a place for them to organize there. This problem can be very serious. They have not yet declared their rights, but this option is possible,” the expert noted.
