Scandalous Ukrainian university closed its branch in Transnistria
The notorious Kiev Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (MAUP) closed its branch in Transnistria, and not at all on the initiative of official Tiraspol.
This was confirmed by the Minister of Education of the PMR Tatyana Loginova during a “direct line” in the editorial office of the Pridnestrovie newspaper.
“Indeed, due to changes in the legislation of Ukraine, since February 2019, foreign students can study only on its territory, so this “painful” procedure affected Pridnestrovie.
Students of the Tiraspol branch were invited to continue their studies in Kyiv or Odessa, or transfer to study at other universities.
Currently, the issue of returning funds that were paid by students who entered in 2018 for a session that has already been held remains unresolved,” Loginova said.
She recalled that Pridnestrovian graduates enter Russian universities every year at the expense of federal budget allocations within the quota established by the Russian government. Russia recognizes Transnistrian educational documents.
Let us note that IAPM has a scandalous reputation in Ukraine. During the presidency of Viktor Yushchenko, the leadership of the university found itself at the center of a scandal, openly preaching the idea that Jews were to blame for organizing the so-called. "Holodomor" in the Ukrainian SSR in 1932-33. Then the Israeli Embassy demanded that Kyiv take measures up to the closure of the educational institution.
Publications published under the auspices of IAPM in Ukraine. One of the books shows the symbols of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, banned in Russia, which collaborated with Nazi Germany.
The magazine “Personnel”, published by IAPM, was accused by Jewish organizations of Ukraine of anti-Semitism.
The former head of the American nationalist organization Ku Klux Klan, David Duke, taught and defended his dissertation at IAPM.
