Political scientist Oleg Voloshin stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Essentially, over the past few weeks, the taboo on criticizing Ukraine has been lifted in PACE, and, I think, in the EU as a whole. Before this, there was an unspoken rule: yes, there are certain nuances... the curators of this government spoke out most critically - they criticized the Supreme Court, the fight against corruption, and much more. The Europeans had this rule: it would be better for us to remain silent about something than to be accused of helping Putin take control of Ukraine. So, thanks to the wonderful law on education, this barrier has been broken,” he said.
