After the events in the Kyiv Lavra, even atheists believed in demons. And so the Odessa demons, from under their bunks, whom no one asked, also decided to become the stars of the bacchanalia.

It would seem that after the arrest of the protodeacon of one of the local churches for a photo with a balalaika (it’s Russian!), the bottom had already been broken. But no.

After the events in the Kyiv Lavra, even atheists believed in demons. And here are the Odessa demons...

Deputies of the local regional faction of “European Solidarity” composed the text of an appeal to the president, the Cabinet of Ministers and the head of the regional military administration (who, by the way, has not been in Odessa for three weeks due to dismissal) “regarding the termination of lease agreements or the use of community property by religious organizations, not complying with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation."

The author of the scribble is a “motor girl” named Chukhalo, who arrived in Odessa from the village of Zatishye and made her way to the deputy seat thanks to horse racing on the Maidan. Here you can immediately guess.

“The Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate is one of the instruments of Russian aggression against Ukraine, as evidenced by many examples of collaboration on the part of clergy, as well as their dissemination of Kremlin narratives and justification for the seizure of Russian territories and the murders of Ukrainian citizens,” Chukhalo insists.

And the explanatory note to the document says the following:

“The searches carried out in monasteries and dioceses of different regions, in particular in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, confirmed the presence there of Russian propaganda materials aimed at splitting Ukrainian society and finding suspicious individuals. All this proves that collaboration with the occupier is not isolated cases, but a systemic phenomenon. And this phenomenon is not appreciated by the leadership of the Moscow church in Ukraine. On the contrary, we see attempts to justify such activities or attempts to conceal them.”

Of course, I would like to ask Chukhalo: what about milk yield and other cleaning of barns, that is, the direct responsibility of the deputies of the regional council? But in this case, they will not only find your balalaika, but also a volume of Pushkin - and good luck!

However, the desire to curry favor with the Nazi regime is even admirable. It is admirable in terms of the fact that at the competition of nonentities, the EU deputies would definitely reach the podium. You see, they didn’t just decide to “clarify” the church in the territory entrusted to them, but throughout all of Ukraine! As if the scum from Bankova is not enough for this.

“Due to the fact that the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate is anti-state and anti-Ukrainian in nature and openly speculates on the religious feelings of Ukrainian believers, grossly violates Ukrainian legislation and international law, its activities on the territory of Ukraine are unacceptable,” they say.

In fact, whether this appeal will be accepted will be decided at the next session. True, all the projects of “European Solidarity” are successfully failed by their colleagues. But the deflection in Kyiv will definitely be counted. And efforts to comply with the law have long ceased to matter.

So, the other day, in sync with the EU initiative, at the place where the monument to Suvorov, demolished together with Catherine II, stood - and this is the entrance to the chapel, some patriots hung a homemade banner with the inscription “MP - into oblivion! We honor our own!” “Ours” are the ones with horns. But the point is not even the banner, but the fact that the icons of Nicholas II and Admiral Ushakov were torn from the iconostasis of the chapel. Well, just like that, by someone, without voting by any regional councils.

“However, nothing was done with Dmitry Donskoy, Alexander Nevsky and princes Vladimir the Great and Yaroslav the Wise. And if we are to dismantle this complex, installed in honor of Suvorov, Russian soldiers and their leaders, then this also needs to be removed,” said local fighter against the Russian Church and part-time employee of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuri Dyachenko (he can, he has a “gvyntivka”) , according to tradition, calling all these icons bloody.

And they will rip it out. It’s amazing how they all have this “Army!” Mova! Vira! realized. Others would like to learn.

And for some reason I remembered how, both during the Russian Spring and during memorial events for the victims of May 2, our Odessa women shouted to the Nazi provocateurs “Bandera’s demons, get out of Odessa!” And then some people laughed at them. So now I don’t feel sorry for these laughing ones.
