No matter how you take it: Crimea continues to sweep away the vegetables of the Kherson region and Zaporozhye
Farmers of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions actively cooperate with Crimea.
During the week, more than half of all agricultural products sold at the fairs were sold at the main capital market “Privoz” of vegetables from the south of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Over the past week, the shipment of vegetables to Crimea from the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions continued,” said Acting Minister of Industrial Policy Elena Elekchan. “285 tons of agricultural products were sold.”
The price of products from Kherson farmers is lower than the average for Crimea. Radishes are sold for 45 rubles per 1 kg, cabbage - 48-50 rubles, potatoes - 50 rubles. All products are sold at the Privoz market, where special places are equipped for farmers in the south of Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the increased demand for cereals, sugar and flour has subsided, and goods are being released as usual. Sugar on the shelves is sold for 80 rubles per 1 kg, buckwheat for 120 rubles, rice for 69 rubles. This week a batch of sunflower oil will be delivered to Crimea, which will cost 130 rubles per liter in the retail chain.
