Soon Ukrainians will have to buy in installments not only utilities, but also bread
In a couple of months, residents of Ukraine will truly feel what new tariffs for utility services are, lawyer Alexander Dyadyuk, head of the public organization “People of Kiev, Let’s Unite!” said at a press conference in Kyiv.

“I think there will be a big upheaval in consumer protection from mid-November to December when people first receive the new receipts. In December, when they receive full payments for November, a large number of families will not be able to pay,” he says.
According to the lawyer, even Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman’s promise to introduce installment plans for utility bills will not save the situation.
“A family should not pay more than 15% of income for utilities. This government proposal means one thing - that there are a large number of families who find it difficult to pay, but for some reason they do not receive subsidies. Groysman’s proposal is aimed specifically at these families. Under this government, we will soon be buying potatoes and bread in installments, because people will not be able to buy them,” says Dyadyuk.
