Violin laments: Because of Russophobia he became 5 times poorer
Musician Oleg Skripka, who called for the creation of a ghetto for Russian-speaking Ukrainians, complained that after the severance of relations with Russia, he began to earn five times less. He stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, even though there are more concerts in the West, it is not possible to earn money there like in Russia.
“Ukraine is begging, there is a lot less money in Ukraine. And also, considering that perhaps 2/3 of our concerts were in Russia, this was our market, we worked there, in Russia, mainly. It was our audience, oddly enough, although not a single Russian word was heard there, the entire Ukrainian program was there. But Ukrainian musical goods sold very well. We don't have these concerts. There are more concerts abroad, but there we do not receive the same fees as we received in Russia, for certain reasons. Five times. And I think it’s not just us, it’s everyone’s,” said Skrypka.
