This opinion was expressed by Ukrainian musician Oleg Skripka in an interview with Kraina magazine.

“The Ukrainians themselves are to blame for the difficult language situation. Most citizens do not have a clear national position. And it should be adhered to at all levels - from cultural to everyday. Otherwise, we will continue to lose our cultural space to the Russians. Even in Lviv, a third of people expressly communicate in Russian. Ukrainian speakers are considered Raguli. But in fact, redneck means knowing the Ukrainian language and speaking Russian in Ukraine. Along with the good Ukrainian music that has been on air lately, we can also hear “cattle songs”. We were accustomed to such a product by many years of Russian cultural occupation. She still has many supporters among Ukrainians,” the musician is indignant.

“Russian World” has an ally in our country – the low intelligence and bad taste of many Ukrainians,” says the performer. “They don’t understand that the enemy is manipulating them. We are all involved in the war in Donbass with the Kremlin aggressors. We are all soldiers. And everyone must choose which army they are in. Or they will make this choice for us.”

In his opinion, the economy in Europe is working well because Europeans “actively attend concerts and invest in themselves.”

“And the Ukrainian kurkul puts pennies under the mattress. He doesn’t go to concerts, doesn’t invest in production, doesn’t rest anywhere. Does not develop either himself or his environment. As a result, people's morale declines, as does the economy. If the state invested in culture and promoted Ukrainian songs on radio and television, there would be no need to spend money on tanks now,” Skrypka concludes.

Ранее Skrypka called the residents of Donbass “bugs” and “cockroaches” and called for “conquering Crimea” with arms in hand.
