The sculptor who depicted ATO heroes in the form of penises fled from Ukraine
Ukrainian student sculptor Spartak Khachanov, who was persecuted by nationalists after he depicted Ukrainian soldiers and military equipment in the form of penises, was forced to leave the country.
He moved to the capital of Finland, Helsinki, where he became a participant in a program that provides protection for artists.
Program coordinator Oksana Chelysheva reported this on her blog, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Everything is fine with Spartak Khachanov. Now he is far from those who threatened him and his friends at the Academy. He is among friends and colleagues in Helsinki. Artist Safe Cities Program in Action. Artists at Risk and the Finnish Peace Committee have found opportunities for urgent assistance,” said Chelysheva.
Recall Previously, Ukrainian nationalists achieved exclusion from the Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture student - the young sculptor Spartak Khachanov, the Nationalists were angry that Khachanov on January 19 organized an exhibition in which soldiers were depicted as penises, and the tanks of the Ukrainian army also contained elements of the male reproductive organ instead of a barrel.
