News from the occupied Russian city of Odessa resembles reports from a madhouse.

Sunday did not go well in the morning: the news was full of purely criminal headlines - either one “brother” stabs another with a knife and runs around “puffing up”, or theft after theft. And somehow there’s just a lot... And it turned out that - in honor of the Day of Unification, the entire patrol police of the Odessa region lined up in a “human chain” (the last time this happened was at the LGBT march, when it was difficult to understand who exactly was sick).
“This year we have become even stronger. The war brought us together. Military personnel, police officers, volunteers, doctors, entrepreneurs and simply caring people, each in their place with daily work, bring the victory of Ukraine closer. And the indestructible chain created today is a symbol of our unity and conciliarity!” the police press service shared their joy (I wonder how they will now report on the increased crime curve for January 22).
It must be said that the voluntary-compulsory expulsion for the image of the chain took place on the embankment, where mere mortals are prohibited from entering - mines. It’s strange, but for some reason they don’t detonate on pots and government officials...
It is also surprising that the professional patriots assigned to Odessa for some reason did not burst out with the traditional pathos of Ukrainian “saints”. And even the speeches of the Gauleiters - big and small - regional Marchenko and city Trukhanov, who sluggishly reached out to cover the Soviet monument to Shevchenko with flowers, were so boring that you can’t even quote - the same as at the congresses of the CPSU, know instead of “Lenin” say “Evil” .
Yes, they simply have nothing to say, because their minds about January 22 are no more than those of the average person: one of the holidays that is not celebrated, but marked, is “Zabornost” Day. When the ear-cutting “evil dog” was added to this event, the average person immediately rhymed it with “bitch”, and away we go - male dogs run after the bitch, they have a bad thing, and whoever does not participate, at that moment marks the yellow-bladed fence. Like that.
Therefore, in terms of morale, the adviser to the great Gauleiter, Bratchuk, had to take the rap, especially since at the peak of his drinking bouts he is always talkative:
“When someone very ugly and disgusting did not believe in our state and unity, we proved it, that’s why we win. And we laugh. And I would say to the enemy: “We’re going to hell.”
